We use ONLY quality screens, however apple has made it so iPhone SE2020, and iPhone 11 up, will give you a warning that "this screen may not be genuine apple product". We can always get you a genuine apple screen at substantial cost if you wish. We can now avoid this warning most times but it's not guaranteed. This applies to ANY ELECTRONICS SHOP.. Apple has made it difficult to repair iPhones starting with the iPhone SE2020, iPhone 11 and up, if you have your iPhones screen repaired by ANYONE other than Apple, you will get a message in settings "this screen may not be a genuine apple part". If you have forgotten your login password to your Mac, it can be reset provided you do not have Encryption turned on. Apple ID and Password may be required to unlock Mac OS.
From time to time components need to be replaced, in house if possible, to save a logic board. I also do side soldering jobs, but you need to know what goes where!
Logic board repair service is available: may require lengthy stays of 10 days to few weeks if parts need to be ordered. Rare, but it happens. Proper time must be given. System Management Controller: Power, battery, fan, thermal, light and other low level items. Its an actual chip on the logic board, and it controls a LOT. resetting this will right a log of wrongs. See HOW TO below.
Bios is a chip on the Motherboard of PCs, it controls which drives will boot, etc. EFI is how Macs Boot, and its similar but it creates all the information on a .efi file, usually on a small section of the Hard Drive that controls all of the boot information. Bios saves data to the firmware on the chip itself.
Non Volatile Ram or Parameter Ram- controls: sound volume, display resolution, startup-disk selection, time zone, See HOW TO below.
Solid State Drive. Unlike platter based drives, solid state drives have no moving parts, they are made of only chips.. and will make a computer run a lot faster if coming over from a platter based drive.
Dynamic Ramdon Access Memory. basically, Ram. the memory your computer uses. This is not storage, but memory that gets filled up with data as needed, then wiped, and filled again, over and over. Imagine your hard drive and how slow they were delivering information. well if you started a program, key parts of the program would be moved to the ram, so the CPU could process the data faster.
