I will never tell you that your device is outdated, unless it really is OUTDATED! 2007 and back, good chance it is. Ill tell you how you can get 3 more years out of your device, maybe even more.
Most people when they say "I have an old Mac" its not really that old at all, not in apple terms, definitely not in what I can do to upgrade and revitalize the machine to give you those 3-5 years while making the machine faster too!

When it comes to choice, there is little: there is the only Apple store in the area which is in Tampa, and they do not specialize in repairs once you're out of your warranty period. Apple tends to replace, not repair, which makes sense if you are Apple. But sometimes, a 20.00 fuse can be replaced rather than 800 dollars for a logic board.
And when you're out of warranty, that usually means you'll be shown the shiny NEW $2300 dollar version of what you brought in! Which is great if your in the market for a new Apple...

LCD PANEL REPAIR- If your MacBook has lines in it, most likely you need a new screen. I can replace your screen in under a week most times, sometimes sooner.
BOARD LEVEL REPAIRS- This skill allows me to save my customers 30-80% off the cost of replacing a logic board where possible. Tools are expensive, and newer boards are complicated: so what I cannot do, I have Logic Board repair specialists I use for iPhone/iPads, and for Macs!
iPad CHARGING PORTS: Microsoldering: This allows me to replace a charging port in an iPad (reg and Air), where UbreakIfix or BatteriesPlus will say "WE DONT DO THAT... you need an apple store". Nope, you need Florida Apple Mac Pros!!
